Plasma Microbiology
Städt. Klinikum München GmbH, Mikrobiologie-Zentrallabor Schwabing
Since 2005 the Department for Medical Microbiology and Hospital Hygiene is part
of the plasma medicine collaboration.
Contributions to the project:
- microbiological diagnostics of patients enrolled in the clinical studies
- advice and assistance concerning the design and realization of sterilization
experiments including disposal of laboratory equipment and various strains of
bacteria and fungi
- advice and support of the Clinic of Dermatology, Allergology and Environmental
Medicine, Hospital Munich Schwabing and Clinic of Dermatology, University of
Regensburg concerning the application of low temperature Argon Plasma to
infected wounds
